Bigger clients came with harder questions. We built the infrastructure to answer them.
A creative agency winning enterprise work, and finding out that enterprise clients send security questionnaires before they send briefs.
What we built
procurement reviews, built to pass with flying colors
increase in Fortune 500 clients
The work was ready for big clients. The paperwork wasn't.
The agency's work was getting the attention of global brands. But winning the business meant getting through procurement first: security assessments, privacy reviews, vendor questionnaires, and insurance requirements. Each one arrived with a deadline, and nobody owned the answers. Almost nobody knew where to look.
Nobody owned the answers.
Security, privacy, and IT had grown up informally, the way they do at most agencies. Devices, accounts, and access were handled by whoever was closest. When a client asked how their data was protected, the answer was "Our SaaS platforms protect it?"
Security infrastructure, built in sequence.
An honest audit
What was in place, what was missing, and what clients would ask for.
IT foundations
Endpoint device management, access controls, account security, and training.
Policies
A privacy policy and security policies, including escalation procedures, emergency cheat sheets, and scenario testing.
Ownership
A named security owner with a backup, so every question has a home.
A procurement playbook
Standard answers and documentation, ready before the questionnaire arrives.
Procurement is focused on winning the work rather than plugging IT holes.
- Security reviews went from fire drills to routine.
- Questionnaires get answered from a library, not from memory.
- The agency can say yes to clients that used to be out of reach.
- Fortune 500 enterprise clients increased 200%.
